We at the studio receive numerous requests for commissioned portraits every year. I have been commissioned to paint some of Hockey's most notable players. Once we schedule a commission a time will be set up for a session to take or view photographs of the subjects. Once the proper pose is achieved, the preliminary sketch is started. Completion of the portrait takes approximately 2-3 months from the photo shoot or viewing.
